Open Strings Masterclass 2026 will be held from August 2nd to 10th in Denmark. Open Strings offers an intensive week of cello lessons, ensemble, workshops as well as a focus on the physical and mental aspects of playing.

The course is located at Earthwise in the village of Bogens near Ebeltoft and  is held in conjunction with the international festival Klassiske Koncerter in Djurs & Mols.

Basic information:

Dates: 2nd – 10th August

Price: 4.500 DKK incl. accommodation and food (2000 DKK deposit* to be paid before May 1st 2026, the rest is to be transferred before the start of the course)

Applications received after the deadline will be considered according to availability. A late application fee of 500 DKK will be added to the course fee.

The food will be home cooked. Should you have especially specific dietary needs let us know, but we will not be able to custom make meals for each individual student.
